Our aim is for Hong Kong SAR to become Asia’s Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) — initially focused on China’s Greater Bay Area (GBA) catchment — through driving innovation, leading high-impact service delivery and achieving sustainable social and economic outcomes.

Damien Green

Founder, Hong Kong Autism Institute

Damien Green is a co-founder of the Hong Kong Autism Institute and a parent of two Autistic children. He is an advocate for Autistic People in Hong Kong SAR and is the former Asia President and CEO of Manulife and the former CEO of Manulife Hong Kong and Macau. Along with his partner and their five children, Damien is a Permanent Resident of Hong Kong SAR.

Dr. AU King Lun

MH, JP, FHKSI (Hon), CFA, PhD

Dr Au King Lun, MH, JP, served as a Former Executive Director of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council from 8/2020 - 1/2026. He was named CEO of the Year in Hong Kong by Asia Asset Management in 2012 and 2014. He was also awarded the Medal of Honour in 2008 and appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2025 by the HKSAR Government. Dr Au served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (2006-2008) and the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (2004-2005). Dr. Au is currently serving as a Finance Committee member of Adventist Health Hong Kong among other roles in service of the public.

Dr. AU King Lun

Dr. Mei Ling Fok

Dr. Mei Ling Fok, a qualified lawyer, has extensive experience in Hong Kong philanthropy, including the funding and governance of various Autism programs and initiatives. She is Founder of Families of SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Foundation and Executive Chair of YCWH Trust. Mei Ling is highly respected for her work and contribution to rare disease awareness, special education and help for disadvantaged local families impacted by both medical and mental health challenges.

Raymond Lam

Raymond Lam is a Partner at Ernst & Young Hong Kong, where he serves in the Financial Services Assurance practice and co‑leads the EY Ability Network, driving the firm’s disability inclusion and neurodiversity agenda. As a father to an autistic son, Raymond brings both professional insight and lived experience to his advocacy. He is deeply committed to fostering understanding, empowering families, and supporting a more inclusive and sustainable future for the autism community in Hong Kong.

Dr. Fanny Wai Fan Lam

MBChB (CUHK), DCH (Irel), MRCP (UK), FHKAM (Paediatrics), mFHKCPaed

Dr. Fanny Lam is a respected Developmental-Behavioural Paediatrician with extensive experience in Hong Kong SAR and Mainland China specialising in Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia.  She is Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine for the University of Hong Kong, and Consultant Developmental Paediatrician for three major Hong Kong hospitals.  Fanny has been recognised internationally through appointment as Tutor of the Association for Research in Infant and Child Development (ARICD) – UK, and Visiting Professor of Zhejiang Normal University.
